Local Host - Implementation of EMC eRoom SMB Edition on your failover (COOP) network.
eRoom SMB allows non-technical users to easily create databases and information repositories for tracking and storing key business information such as policies, procedures and guidelines. It also facilitates the management of projects, tasks, personnel and business resources. It requires minimal IT staff to deploy and maintain, yet offers rich collaboration and reporting features and a user-friendly, intuitive interface that non-technical staff find easy to operate. With minimal training and limited hands-on experience, users quickly master system functions and adapt available resources to replace unavailable systems. Real-time "chat" facilitates collaborative communication from disparate locations and targeted or broadcast alerts keep users up-to-date on emergent issues. |
Remote Host - Maintain failover systems at a secure third-party data center
In the event of a regional system failure, the Re-COOP remote hosting option allows re-located staff access to secure information hosted at a remote data-center. When assigned duty stations are unavailable and staff are unable to access primary virtual "regrouping" place. Messages, documents, and limited business functions can be available to agency essential personnel with access privileges. For highly secure data, VPN's with SSL are available and backup/restore services utilize AES encryption. Additional eRoom sites can be created or replicated remotely as necessary. |
